Taichung's only Portuguese-style restaurant, this cozy 27-seat bistro is located across from the Cultural Heritage Park. The bright interior features rose-covered ceilings and European-tiled walls. Owner Hsu Yuan Hung and his Polish-Portuguese wife Monika offer set meals for two (NT$1,350–2,000) centered on dishes such as pork ribs with homemade sauce, Australian tomahawk steak, fried cod, and baked oysters with cheese, accompanied by salad, seafood soup, bread, desserts, and berry-flower tea. Beverages include sparkling water, Americano coffee, and sangria served in giant glass dispensers.
